Your Home Valet: Driving
DISCLAIMERS AND EXCEPTIONS

Disclaimer

Your Home Valet Driving is not responsible for losses or delays resulting from unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to mechanical difficulties, weather changes, traffic conditions, road construction, and pet emergencies. Your Home Valet Driving will notify you of these conditions and work to deliver your items as soon as possible.

Clients are responsible for ensuring vehicles and pets are prepped for long-distance travel:

Vehicles are required to have routine preventive maintenance before transport (oil changed and filled, tires properly inspected and inflated, windows in good condition etc.). Vehicle will be inspected before departure, noting any and all existing damage. Owner is responsible for repairs caused by improper preventive maintenance.

Pets must be accompanied by all supplies (leashes, food, water bowl, bedding etc.) and any necessary medications. Full care instructions must be provided before departure. Owner is responsible for the cost of food and other supplies purchased during transport.

Driver Limitations

Federal law stipulates that automobile shipping drivers travel no more than 500 miles per day, including any and all auto transport delivery stops. They are also only allowed to drive 6 days per week, and must take a longer “rest period” every two weeks.
